Update: This car is now SOLD.
Another local Nissan Skyline has come up for sale, this particular car comes from a long time, active GTRCanada Forum member who started his
build thread back in 2008, one of the first people I knew personally to own a right hand drive, imported Japanese car, just a few years after we had passed the allowance period.

Sunset drive Nissan Skyline GTR 1991 |
This silver '91 GTR first caught my attention when it parked in the lot near my apartment, back in the days of my
First GTR, I parked near his car and somehow, I think there was a note left on someone's car or dust writing on the window, but we ended up being on all the same forums.
Then as one of us bought parts, we would try to get on group buys together, often sharing resources, mechanics, connections, importers, anything we could. We often went to a lot of the same car meets, like
Thursday Nights @ Montreal's Orange Julep.

Rebuilt Upgraded RB26DETT Skyline GTR Engine |
I knew TW to be a solid guy, he actually recommended Haig @ Autoworx for getting work done on the Skyline after he had his engine rebuilt there, they have a flawless record of never having one of their built engines' ever fail.

7 Nissan Skylines ready to hit the race track @ Sanair, Qc |
He was also part of our
Skyline track day @ Sanair, after going for a few laps in the passenger seat, I remember this car to be really quite impressive, the acceleration will really deliver that feeling of an elephant sitting on your chest, like nothing else can. Actually, we ran a post about the
Carbon Fiber NelsonMX Skyline for Sale a few weeks back, which has since sold, he was at that track day too.
Without further delay and enough of a trip down memory lane, presented below, for the steal of a price of
$16,500, and it's got way more than that in parts alone - is the Kijiji ad for this

For Sale Nissan Skyline |
After much debate, I've decided to make the difficult decision and part with my 1991 Skyline GTR. I've owned the car since 2007, and have put a considerable amount of time, energy, and money into building it. The result is a reliable, fun, monster of a car. In 2007, I blew the motor and a full rebuild of the motor was necessary. What started as a simple project quickly became a complete overhaul, and with the help of Haig (formerly of Autoworx) and top quality parts, the car came together. It was a slow process, but each year the car was outfitted with new parts and a new attitude, and it has become pretty close to what I would consider a perfect street machine.
Tuning was done by Robin Almasi. The most recent dyno session yielded just under 485WHP at 21.5 psi (94 octane). There's still a little more power to pull out of a slightly more aggressive tune, but we went a little on the safer side. As far as power goes, turning up the boost to 23-24 psi would make over 500whp, I would go with some head work first though. The stock head will make 500whp easy, but bigger cams, some porting and gears would provide a ton of power / torque. As it is though, the car pulls like an absolute train. The GT2960r-5's come on HARD at around 4000 rpm and it pulls all the way through the powerband.
As far as maintenance goes, meticulous would be an understatement. Oil was done every 4000km, always used motul. The car was always properly warmed up and cooled down every time it was driven. Top quality fluids used all around(transmission and diffs). All fluids were done at the end of last year, oil was just done 1 month ago. Continue to treat her right, and she will reciprocate.
The car has seen one track day, and performed very well. For continued track use, upgraded brakes might be a good idea but for street use with the occasional track day, it will perform fine.
Lots of brand new parts have just been added. I just replaced both oxygen sensors as well as the TPS sensor (all original Nissan parts) (both are common failures on a car of this age).. Brakes are also BRAND NEW. all rear tie rods replaced 1 month ago. In addition, the clutch was just rebuilt (100km ago) with a genuine OS GIKEN rebuild kit, so it is brand new. Tires are BRAND NEW, 20 km on them.
